2025 Season Performances

An intimate evening of stories and songs await in the charming St. Peter's Courthouse Theatre. PEI's Poet Laureate Tanya Davis hosts 'Down by the Bay." A writer, poet, and songwriter, Tanya is a true multi-faceted creative who has appeared at folk festivals and events from Australia to home. This show features two acts brand new to Small Halls. London, Ontario based group The Pairs bring soft, folky sibling harmonies and familiar banter to the stage. Favorites on Canadian folk festival and International stages, they're gearing up for their fourth studio album release. This delightful trio will pull you in with their sweet, sweet sounds. Music lives on in the family of Ontario indie songstress Geogia Harmer. The niece of celebrated Canadian artist Sarah Harmer, Georgia has deveoped a singular sound of her own, from intimate folk to pop-kissed rock. She's toured alongside acts like Tim Baker, City And Color, Broken Social Scene and more.

Shane Pendergast has folk music in his blood. Hailing from a long lineage of storytellers and musicians in Prince Edward Island, he is keeping the Maritime folk tradition alive with his honest and insightful compositions. From acclaimed folk festivals across the world to the small halls of PEI, Shane has cemented himself as one of Atlantic Canada's finest folk troubadours. His 2021 album Second Wind won Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the Music PEI Awards, and in 2025 he released his fourth album Winter Grace, a deeply personal collection that captures both the joys and hardships of life in the Maritimes.

Fiona MacCorquodale and Isaac King are a fiddle and guitar duo from PEI. Fiona, deeply rooted in Celtic tradition has been playing fiddle at ceilidh halls for over a decade and has recently crossed genres with local country bands 'Brooke & Brad' and 'Quittin' Time' and is regular guest performer with 'Fiddler's Sons'. Isaac's in-demand guitar work has made him a sought-after accompanist for some of PEI's most revered singer-songwriters and bands.
